Did the pandemic just kill off the Corporate Network?

Since the start of the year, and the beginning of the pandemic pretty much everyone’s work and personal life has been distrupted. High streets are empty, offices are earily quiet and gyms, well I don’t know – I don’t ever visit them 😉

But aside from my lack of cardio action in 2020, many workers are now working from home, on kitchen tables, home offices and sofas – whilst IT teams scramble round to get laptops so people can work, and install security tools to protect their data. So why bother with a corporate network any more?

Whilst everyone initially thought the global pandemic was going to be a brief event which blew over and like returned to normality, it looking increasingly likely that the truth is rather different. Habits are being changed, lifestyles and different and employees are demanding more from their employees. GSuite upping their game

Enabling Microsoft Teams en-masse for your Business

Coronavirus IT Checklist

With most businesses sending their staff home, I thought I’d put up a very quick post to share a few thoughts, and ideas for smaller departments or those without a Coronavirus Task Force. I’m happy to keep this up to date with any suggestions from you LinkedIn or Twitter folk for anything that I’ve missed, so throw me some suggestions!
